1984 Los Angles Olympic Gate Competition Mosaic

Stan Andrulis has over 40 years experience in the design of architecture in scales both extremely large and very small. He spent the first 15 years of his career with some of the nation’s more prominent architectural design firms executing commissions both domestically and internationally. His experience includes large scale master planning, significant investment office, educational, laboratory, governmental, residential and historic restoration experience in the United States, Western Europe and Africa.

In order to provide more personal attention to his clients, as well as be intricately involved in all phases of the architectural design process, in 2000 he altered course and began to practice as a sole proprietor. During this time he has designed residential, light commercial, retail, restoration projects as well as several larger scale institutional and commercial designs. Along the way he has developed an expertise in the design of animal health care facilities. His projects have included suburban and urban, new construction and adaptive reuse of historic structures, private veterinary practices and non-profit animal welfare institutions. He works closely with clients to create architecture that exceeds their functional, efficiency, budget and aspirational desires. This has resulted in facilities that reinforce doctor’s practice philosophy, satisfied repeat clients and design award winning projects.
